A Word from Fare and Just
As you are all likely aware the 2021 high season is here and is anything but typical. This summer, my business as well as others here on Cape are experiencing an incredible influx of people and a shortage of workers. Even my purveyors are experiencing this. As a result, we have had to make some temporary changes. We will no longer be able to accommodate more than 6 entrees on a single order. Additionally, during times with heavy walk-up traffic, we may even not be able to answer the phone. At this point, we do not want to cut off phone ordering completely but want you to be aware of this limitation. We deeply apologize for this major inconvenience.
A little about us... Here at Fare and Just Kitchen, we don't just offer options. Instead, we are an entirely vegan, peanut-free, and gluten-free establishment offering a petite, creative, well-thought-out menu that changes twice a year. Our kitchen is modest, containing only a 4 burner stove and an oven. We don’t have a fryolator, grill, or multiple employees to facilitate orders. Always friendly and with a smile, my son Gabe runs the front of the house, taking and giving your orders. Behind the scenes, my other son Aaron works making salads and all smoothies to order and helping with prep when he has a free moment. As the owner and head chef, I do all ordering, shopping, menu planning, the majority of the prep, and ALL of the to-order cooking. As you can see we are a small family-run business.
We do our best to serve all customers daily during our Thursday through Sunday lunch and dinner business hours but may often run out of certain dishes due to their popularity, or not receiving goods in a timely manner. We may even need to close early on certain days as sometimes we literally run out of food. We will do our best to inform you through our voicemail and social media on days when this occurs. We take pride in offering you healthy, great-tasting plant-based cuisine made with love in-house here at Fare and Just Kitchen.
We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding when ordering and receiving your food. Wait times may be longer than expected but know that we treat every order with care.
